Amazing start to this week! I was featured in Time Out London magazine! Which is an absolute dream come true! I got sent an email from the lovely Ray who works for Time Out telling me that I would feature in this weeks addition on Monday evening. It just so happened that I was coming up to Baker Street Station and so I got to pick up a copy there and then! And I found the bit I was feature in on my train ride home! So exciting! A half page spread!!!
This week was also Record Store Day (Record SHOP Day if you're not American) I had been booked to play at the Vinyl Frontier in Eastbourne. I won't lie, I did think Eastbourne and then think of lots of old people… But Eastbourne is super cool! I played with The Tuts, Rohda Dakar and Wendy May. It was so lovely to play with a group of really cool and influential women working in the music industry! I sold lots of CD's to people that you know are going to listen to it! So many people just listen to music streamed from the internet on their phones now, which is fine cause thats the easiest way to get music now I guess. But I just like to have the product in my hands! i do feel strongly about support independent shops and businesses! I loved RSD '16!
